Welcome! The studio has been a vision of mine since becoming a resident of Riverside Club with my Husband, Bob Smith. I have been in the Beauty Industry for over 40 years. As a Sassoon trained stylist,  I’ve owned and operated several salons throughout my career, as well as being an executive at Aveda Corporation, an Estee Lauder Company. I was very instrumental in the development of Aveda’s entire Full Spectrum Hair Color umbrella and in my role of Director of Global Hair Color Education and Sales at Aveda, I launched Full Spectrum Permanent, Deposit only Color Treatment, Color Current and Full Spectrum Deep, domestically, as well as in Europe and Asia.

My work has appeared in many trade magazines including Modern Salon, American Salon, Salon Today as well as print Ads for Aveda in Glamour, Allure, Marie Claire and Vogue.  

With passion and a commitment to the Beauty Industry and Education, I moved to St. Petersburg for my  last corporate role overseeing Aveda Education at The Salon People for the State of Florida, from which I retired in June 2020. Even though early retirement was a goal for me, creating a first class salon environment as an amenity for Riverside Club residents was an opportunity I felt was much needed.
